The Learner's Environment Questionnaire

Learning flourishes when it is actively encouraged and supported. Inevitably, the culture of the workplace makes continuous learning easier or more difficult.

The Learner's Environment module of the Learning Series invites people in your organisation to assess their working situation from a learning perspective and shows them how to improve it using: 

  • support from your manager
  • a culture which has continuous learning as a priority
  • systems and procedures that provide a supportive infrastructure for your learning
  • help and co-operation from your peers
  • work that provides a plentiful supply of opportunities to learn.

How it works

The user completes an online self-assessment questionnaire (a process that takes about 10 minutes) and receives an immediate diagnosis of his/her current learning environment. With these results, he/she also receives a tailor-made personal development plan. Built-in benchmarks enable the user to score him/herself against norms for different groups and he/she can compare his/her current results against previous results. Online links take the user to practical and digestible advice on implementing development suggestions and to related resources.
