The Learning Skills Questionnaire
People with relevant, up to date skills are the key to your organisation’s effectiveness. Learning can justifiably claim to be the ultimate skill, since it provides the gateway to all other skills.
The Learning Skills module of the Learning Series allows people to drill down into the skills involved in:
- making and taking opportunities to learn
- using behaviour that helps increase the amount you learn
- ensuring the clarity of learning
- adding value to your learning with the transfer of learning from one situation to other situations
- seeking to improve the way you learn, by learning to learn.
By improving learning skills, a business is making its single best investment in developing people who are fully equipped to welcome change.
How it works
The user completes an online self-assessment questionnaire (a process that takes about 10 minutes) and receives an immediate diagnosis of his/her current learning skills. With these results, he/she also receives a tailor-made personal development plan. Built-in benchmarks enable the user to score him/herself against norms for different groups and he/she can compare his/her current results against previous results. Online links take the user to practical and digestible advice on implementing development suggestions and to related resources.
